RCS: 2025 Serving Opportunities

Through the KiperKids programme, children aged 7 to 12 receive support in their academics and character development. KiperKids develop children holistically by inculcating positive values and practical life skills though mentoring and close partnership with their parents.

1. Befrienders (Serving children aged 7-9)

Volunteers will serve as befrienders to children from low-income families. They will conduct follow-ups from character development sessions as well as support them with their Maths homework. Sessions will be held online via Zoom.

Commitment:

  • 1.5 hours Weekly (Online via Zoom)

  • Until mid-Nov 2025

2. Befrienders (Serving children aged 11-12)

Volunteers will serve as positive role models to our pre-teens as well as support them in their Maths homework. Sessions will be held onsite at RCS Centre in Sengkang.

Commitment:

  • 2 hours Weekly (In-person at RCS Centre in Sengkang)

  • Until mid-Nov 2025 Family Date strengthens family units by equipping our beneficiaries with the necessary skills and knowledge to cope with life’s stressors and build loving families.

3. Small Group Facilitators (Serving children aged 5-6)

Volunteers will facilitate small group sessions with the children while their parents attend equipping workshops.

Commitment:

  • 4 Hours on Saturday, Once a month

  • Until mid-Nov 2025
