Three Passovers recorded in the Gospel of John:

1. John 2:13 - The first Passover

2. John 6:4 - The second mentioned Passover

3. John 11:55-13:1 - The third and final Passover

In John chapter 6, “bread” was mentioned many times and had become the point of contention.

1. Unleavened Bread during Passover (Exodus 12:15-20)

2. Bread That Fed the Five Thousand (John 6:2-13)

3. Manna That Sustained the Israelites (Joshua 6:10-12)

4. Jesus, the Bread of Life (John 6:25-58)

1. Salvation Comes Only by Believing in Christ

• The promised eternal Life is both already and not yet.

• There will be a great divide in the last day.

2. Constant Abiding in Christ

• Abide in Him will result in fruitfulness

3. Practical Ways to Stay Connected with Christ

• Daily Feeding and Meditating on God’s Word

• Pray and commune with God

• Obey God’s Word and Respond with An Action

CONCLUSION

The true believer of Jesus Christ is a partaker of His life. (John 6:68-69 NIV)
