Hosting Our Guests This Christmas
"...though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men."
Philippians 2:6-7
As Christmas approaches, we find ourselves pausing in between joyful celebrations – to be reminded that we only get to celebrate this season because Jesus came as one of us to save and redeem mankind. Now, we carry hope in our hearts because that little baby in the manger will one day return as our King to rule and reign forever.
Let's pray for our guests who have been invited to our Christmas services. We're trusting God to have personal encounters with those in need of His love and healing.
These little acts of grace will go a long way for those we're hosting:
Park in the vicinity (Pasir Ris Carpark A or Downtown East) if you're able to
Take the stairs so that our lifts can serve those with very young children or mobility difficulties
Come to the Worship Centre early to minimise disruptions when service starts
There will be food and drinks, as well as some activities for children in the Atrium after service on Sun, 22 Dec.
